Dr Vijay Malaya

yes..Dr. Vijay Malaya..the business tycoon..well i cannot call him that..i mean he is a business tycoon..but for me..he is an Indian who is having fun..now he cant help it if his "jobs" are magnanimous in scale..anyways.. im not here to talk about his net worth.. i dont know how he is in person..and frankly speaking i dont care...but one thing that i respect when it comes to Dr malaya is the fact that he bails us out when ever it comes to the nations pride..i dont know much about his previous "purchases" but he came to my notice when he bought Tipu sultan's sword at an auction in London..and how the custom authorities in India were not allowing him to bring it home without paying some custom duty.. i mean what else do you want..he just bought back an object of great historical value..and what do you tell him "sorry sir, please pay more money to get a great Indian warrior's sword back to India.. please pay more money to get something that was snatched from us by the Britishers.." no thank you..just the money..i dont think about it much because its not in my control..but what i appreciate is that he is there when out history is auctioned..it just happened again..bapu's(Mahatma Gandhi) glasses and a broken watch was on sale here in New York..out in the market..up for grabs..up for people who would buy it and boast on the fact that they have a Gandhi's glasses..its nothing else to them..but for us Indians it is Bapu's glasses..how can we let it out for a sale.. i was amazed by the fact that they do have such historical items in their closets..and our government is doing nothing about it..anyways.. i dont blame them..they just dont care..and ah.. this when Dr Malaya steps in..the final day of auction..a representative of Dr Malaya showed up..and ah..he bought..i was the happiest then.. yet again..he has bailed us out and avoided the humiliation of being "sold" to another country(individual)..I dont care how he is..what he does..but when it comes to buying history..he knows where to put his money.. jai shri ram
